Lucy Hemingway
M.S. CCC-SLP

Lucy earned her Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Emerson College in Boston, MA, and her Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology with a minor in Health Policy and Management from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY. During her time at these institutions, Lucy gained clinical experience working in various settings including schools, assisted living facilities, private practices, and long-term acute care hospitals. While at Emerson College, she was selected to participate in a concentrated Fluency program and was one of the first students to implement the SPEAK OUT! Therapy program. Both opportunities helped Lucy gain a passion for Fluency and Voice disorders. Following graduate school, Lucy completed her clinical fellowship year at a skilled nursing facility in Washington, DC. In her free time, Lucy likes trying out different recreational sports, watching movies, cheering on Boston sports teams, and exploring the many coffee shops of Washington, DC.

Lucy is licensed to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the District of Columbia and in Virginia. She earned her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association in 2023.
