Why can a child recognize a word when reading but struggle to spell it? This Dyslexia Awareness Month, take part in an interactive simulation that offers a glimpse of the challenges students with dyslexia may face.
Susan Danker and Carla Askew will guide you through:
- Reading and spelling activities that may challenge skills you usually take for granted.
- A closer look at spelling struggles, including why a child might choose an easier word instead of writing what they really want to say.
- Practical ways to help, followed by live Q&A.
Parents, educators, professionals, and anyone curious about dyslexia are welcome. Bring paper, a pen, and your questions!
