Kaigan Benning
B.S. SLPA
Originally from Los Angeles, Kaigan is certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (C-SLPA). She received her bachelor’s degree in speech, language, and hearing sciences from San Diego State University in 2019. She is currently a second-year, distance-ed graduate student earning her master’s degree in speech-language pathology from the University of South Carolina and is expected to graduate in 2024. Kaigan has 3+ years of experience working in early intervention with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder as a lead registered behavior technician in both California and Virginia. Kaigan has a true passion for forming meaningful relationships with those she serves, as well as engaging in life-long learning. In her free time, Kaigan enjoys hosting get-togethers, exploring DC with her husband, trying out new brunch spots, and staying active with her dog, Scout.
